KAAVALAN


      Kaavalan is the tamil movie directed by siddique and is the remake of the malayalam movie Bodyguard. It was produced by C. Romesh Babu and starred Vijay nd Asin . The music was given by Vidyasagar. The movie was distributed by Cinema Paradise Company and released worldwde on January 15th 2011.

PLOT
   The film starts when Bhoominathan along with his son visting his old boss Muthuramalingan.The fim is a flashback when earlier Bhoomi wants to work with Muthuramalingam, his rival tries to kill muthuramalingam's daughter Meera. So Bhoomi is sent with Meera to college as her body guard. Meera tries to get rid of Bhoomi by making him fall in love with an imaginary character and he falls in the trap just like she planned,but she falls in love with him,unlike she planed too.Bhoomi was desperate to meeta the girl calling him,they arranged a meeting at train,but when Meera's father heard a rumor that his daughter was in love,he groounded her and she had no choice but to sent her friend Madhu. Bhoomi thinks Madhu as the unkown caller and elopes with her. After many years, bhoomi returns to Muthuramalingam with his son,he finds that the mishap that happend and when he came toknow that Meera was still not married,he decided to live with her. They lived happily afterwards.....

SURA

PLOT
The story is starts in coastal area named Yaash Nagar. Sura was born and broght up here by umbrela. He falls in love with poornima, a girl who was about to end her life as her pet died. The girl loved him back as sura was handsome and good looking. The story gets twist with the entry of a  greedy Minister Samuthiri Raja, who wanted to tak over the land of the Yaash nagar fishermen. Sura resisted all the plns proposed by the Minister and takes on the Minister single handedly. He became the hero of Yaash Nagar and lives happily there

Priya's father discovered that priya was Pregnant and tried to kill the child to secure their social status. He asks a local Don to protect priya's child and manages to do so...

VETTAIKAARAN


      Vettaikaran(2009) was directed by Babu sivan and produced by M.B.Gurunath Meiappan,M Balasubramaniam. The story was written by babu sivan and the movie featured Vijay, Anushka Shetty, Srihari, Sayaji Shinde, Salim Ghouse. The film was released on 18th Dec 2009 and the name meant Hunter. Cinematography was done by S.Gopinath and the Production company was AVM Producions.Thw distribution rights was owned by Sun Pictures.

PLOT
   Ravi lives at Tutucorin with his family. He want to be an IPS officer and his idol was Devaraj IPS,an encounter specialist. Ravi joins a college in Chennai and did part time job as an auto driver.He meets Susheela in his auto and after several attempts he won her heart.
  Chella,a rowdy tries to molest Ravi's friend Uma, who was taking donations for a charity. When Ravi came to know of this, he thrashed the rowdies. Chella's father was a Don and revenged Ravi by killing his friend Sugu. Ravi kills chella and plots to kill the Don vedanayagam. When Devaraj,the IPS officer heard this,he offered Ravi a job as a police officer But Ravi refused and lived his own life

Thullatha Manamum Thullum is a 1999 Tamil Blockbuster movie written and directed by Ezhil. The film was produced by R.B Chaudary under the banner of Super Good films. The film features Vijay & Simran in the lead roles and was released on 29 January 1999. The film received the Tamil Nadu state award for the best film and was commercial success at the box office

STORY LINE
The hero of the story, Kutty works in a local cable provider run by Mani. Kutty is very good in singing and wishes to become a great singer. Kutty's songs were well appreciated by the heroine Rukmani, a collage student, but when ever she wishes to meet him, the situation project him as a rowdy. Meanwhile, one day when chasing a rowdy Kutty becomes the cause for Rukmani to lose her eyesight. He eventually starts to love her. Meanwhile Kutty's mother dies and he become highly emotional. Kutty's mother offers her eyes to Rukmani. But in order to meet the expense of operation Kutty offer his kidney to a rich man while returning home from hospital Kutty was arrested by police for handling explosives due to a misinterpretation. For a few years Kutty spend his life in Jail . Meanwhile Rukmani becomes collector. When Kutty return from Jail he was misinterpreted by his lover as she still see the image of a rowdy in him. But clearing all the misinterpretation, Kutty sing the song 'Innisai paadi varum' and they become lovers at the end.

VASEEGARA


Vaseegara is the remake of the Telugu film, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav. The film was directed by K.Selva Bharathy and featured Vijay and Sneha as hero and heroine. STORYLINE
Bhoopathy goes to Chennai from his village in Pollachi in search of a job. He stays at his father's friend Vishwanathan's house. He arrives at Vishwanathan's house on his daughter Priya's engagement. But Priya falls in love with Bhoopathy. She express her love to Bhoopathy but he refuse as he didn't want to break his father's relationship with Vishwanathan. So he leaves to railway station to return to his village. But Vishwanathan thinking that it was his fault that made Bhoopathy to leave his house asks him to come back to his house. Vijay had no choice but to return to Vishwanathan's house. Vijay was then assigned as Priya's driver when she was leaving for her friend's marriage. On the way Priya express her love again but Vijay kept quite as he couldn't make up his mind. When they return after the marriage their love is accepted by the whole family. The story ends as their love becomes a success.

STORYLINE

 The film is about a guy, Ashok who dedicates his life for lovers. Ashok is an expert in woman psychology and gives tips and techniques for people who need to catch their lover's heart. But Ashok strictly advises others not to tell their love immediately because of a past incident that changed his life. Ashok was once in love with a girl, Mahee, but he never told his love to her. His friend also got attracted to the same girl and asked Ashok to help him with his love. Ashok being unaware of this help his friend to succeed in his love. On the marriage of his friend, at the registration center Ashok realizes that it was his girl, the bride. This incident breaks Ashok's heart and was he burst into tears. STORYLINE
On Shiva's wedding day he finds that, his bride Aruna elope with her lover as she does not want to marry a cook. But the incident does not effect Shiva, he took it lightly.
Later Shiva moves to Chennai to look for a job,from there he meets Sandhyas and shiva starts to fall in love with her.
One day at Sandhya's b'day party, sh announces her engagement to a computer engineer Pratap.After hearing this news Shiva gets devastated and leaves the room,Sandhya

 Later after receiving a phone call from police station,he reaches the station and there he meets Aruna, she attempted suicide as her husband abandoned her and left her penniles. Shiva takes her back to take care of her.Later Aruna meets Pratap and discovers that Sandhyas fiance is actually the lover who abandoned her.
On the eve of Sandhya's wedding,she finally understands that she loves Shiva and tells her father but  father refuses to cancel wedding day, she wants to elope with Shiva , but he brings her  back to the wedding venue.
Shiva force's Pratap to enter a room and he closes the door, he forces Pratap to interchange their  clothes.Shiva is now on groom's attire and marries Sandhya in the end.

ONCE MORE


Once More is a 1997 Tamil romantic, comedy film directed by S.A Chandrashekhar. Under his father S.A Chandrashekhar, Vijay would have the privelage of acting alongside with  the legendary Sivaji Ganesan. The film was commercial family entertainer that also Simran in her early days. The film also supposedly, marks the birth of the title 'Ilayathalapathy'. The movie was produced by C.V Rajendran under the banner of Sree Ganesh Vision and was released on 4 July 1997.

The soundtrack of the film was composed by Deva who is commonly known as the 'Father of  Gaana Genre' in Tamil  film industry. Lyrics were written by Vairamuthu and Palani Bharathi.
STORY LINE
Vijay is a young businessman, having big tea estate in Ooty. Vijay just enjoy his life by spending his time in partying and flirting with girls, Due to his improper management, the company plunged into big crisis. To overcome the crisis he invites his father Rajashekhar who is in US  to  sign  the documents. But fate odds him, Vijay's  father met with plane crash on his arrival to India. His maternal uncle (Manivannan) comes up with the idea of having another elderly person to act as Vijay's father to sign the documents. So he met Selvam to act as his father.
Selvam is so sympathetic and affectionate towards Vijay. He observed Vijay carefully. Vijay went through Selvam's past life and he came to know that Selvam is married to Shantha and they segregated for past 30 years. Vijay intended to unite them and he searches for Shantha. Mean while Kavitha joins with Vijay's company, Vijay naturally fell in love with her by Kavitha's beauty. Their love faces serious challenges from Kavitha's mother. As Vijay tries to unite Selvam and Shantha, in  return Selvam tries to unite Vijay and Kavitha.

BADRI



Badri is a 2001 Indian Tamil language sports action film. The movie is a remake of 1999 Telugu film Thammudu. The story portraits a spoilt college brat, done by Vijay, who turns in to a kick-boxer to prove himself. Bhoomika and Monal do the leading roles. The movie was directed by P.A Arun Prasad and produced by B. Sivarama Krishna under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Art. The film was released on 12 April, 2001.

STORYLINE
Badri was the youngest son of his family. He was a careless guy and finds joy in going around and flirting with girls. His father's favourite son was his brother Vetri who was a kick-boxer. Janu (Bhoomika) was in with Badri but for him she was a good friend and a source of money and cars (her father owns a garage) to flirt with girls. Badri proposed Mamathi (Monal), a rich girl and present himself as a rich and powerful. But later, she understood the truth and insulted him infront of his father. His father got tired of him and disowns him. Meanwhile, Badri was attached with enemies and could not participate in the kickboxing championship.
Later Badri decided to workout and fight for his brother. He fought against Rohit, who was Mamathi's new boyfriend and defeated him.
In the climax he turns out to be the real hero. He was accepted by his family. He admits Janu's love for him and they lived in peace.

Thamizhan is a 2002 Tamil romantic thriller directed by A. Majeeth and produced by G. Venkateswaram. This film was Majeeth's first venture as a director. The film features Vijay and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. This was Priyanka Chopra's debut as a lead actress. The high budget film was made with around 11.5 crore rupees and was released on 12 April 2002. The soundtracks for the film was composed by D. Imman.

After the death of Shakthivel, his wife also dies at the hands of criminals. He then starts fighting for his rights. The story ends up with Vijay taking revenge upon his enemies.

STORYLINE
Aravindhan, Chandru and Krishnamurthy were friends. They valued friendship more than anything. The trio takes up the job of a Painter. From there he falls in love with Padmini. Abhirami , the cousin of Padmini is jealous of her. Chandru stands up for her friend but Padmini swears that she will separate their friendship. After marriage Aravindhan realises the innocense of Padmini. At the end Aravindhan reveales that in their young age Chandru's deaf and dumb brother was unknowingly killed by Aravindhan.Their speech was overheared by Aravindhan's cousin and informs Chandru about this.Then there was a mishap between them. Aravindhan tries to convince Chandru but he falls from the top of a mountain. From that incident onwards Aravindan and Chandru gets seperated. After long five years Chandru comes to meet Aravindhan's family. From there he finds to know that Aravindhan is not dead and he is in coma. After hearing the cry of Chandru, Aravindhan tries to come back into the normal life. They all come back into their old joy and live happily.

Shiva also turns into the same college as he gets into an accident and has to give up his dream of studying in Canada. Shiva and Jenny meets in the temple and they introduces themselves. They had to meet again and again as Babu (friend of Shiva) and Shanthi (friend of shanthi ) were in love.They had many misunderstandings and heated arguments between them. They tried to forget what had happened in their life and try to join Babu with Santhi. At the end they join each other and live happily.

KANNUKKUL NILAVU


Kannukkul Nilavu was the first film of Ilayathalapathi in the new millenium. From the new era onwards he began to commit entertaining and commercial ventures. The film was directed by Fazil and produced by Mohan Natarajan under the banner of Sinthamani Cine Arts. This was the second venture of Vijay with director Fazil. The film Features Vijay and Shalini in the lead roles. The songs were composed by music maestro Ilayaraja. The 170 minutes film was released on 14 January, 2000.
The film was boxoffice hit and earned good reviews.

STORYLINE

MINSARA KANNA


Minsara Kanna is a 1999 hit movie written and directed by the hit maker K.S Ravikumar. The film features Vijay and Rambha in the lead roles. The film was produced by K.R.G under the banner of K.R.G Movies International. The film did good at the box office and had a very good positive feedback. The film was made with a budget of 5.1 crore rupees but earned a collection record of 6.9 crore rupees. The 156 minutes film was released on 9 September, 1999. Songs for the film was composed by music director Deva.

MUSIC
A lot of hits were formed from music director Deva for this film. The lyrics were written by Vaali and Na Muthukumar. Singers like Hariharan, Mano, Sujatha, S.P Balasubrahmanian did their best for the film.


STORYLINE
The film deals with three female characters. Indra Devi, a rich, arrogant and haughty lady is the elder sister of Ishwarya who studies there in Germany. Priya is the P.A of Indra Devi. The hero of the story Kasi, is a resident of Germany and falls in love with Monika from Germany. Meanwhile Kasi knowing about Indra Devi, comes back to India with all his family to impress her and to marry Ishwarya. Kasi and family do various jobs at Indra Devi's house. Meanwhile Priya falls in love with Kasi. But knowing about the true story of Kasi she gives it to Ishwarya. Kasi and Ishwarya leaves happily thereafter..

ENDRENDUM KADHAL


Endrendrum kadhal (1999) is a drama filmed by Manoj Bhatnagar. The production was also done by the director. The film stars Vijay and Rambha as lead actors and Raghuvaran and Bhanupriya plays the supporting roles. It is one of the few films in which Raghuvaran acting not as a villian.The movie was not a huge success. The film was produced by Gentleman Film International and Sameera Films and was released on 5 March 1999.

STORYLINE
Vijay is a successful businessman. He visits Switzerland for a business proposal and meets Nagaraj, his sister Meenu, cousin Shekhar and Krishna. Krishna was satisfied with Vijay as his son- in -law, but he approves their relationship only on one condition, that Vijay must stay in Switzerland after their marriage. Vijay could not leave his family back in India. So he refuses and he returns to India. Shekhar and Meenu travels to India and then Shekhar tries to maintain their relationship by acting as a mediator. Shekhar learns that Pooja had been dumped by Krishna for a better life and Vijay is just waiting for an opportunity to kill the man who destroyed his sisters life. The plot takes complicated twists and turns and ends well with the marriage of Vijay with Meenu and also Shekhar with Pooja.

NINAITHEN VANDHAI



Ninaithen Vandhai is a Tamil romantic film directed by K. Selva Bharathy and produced by Allu Aravind. The film was released on 10 April, 1998 and was a commercial hit at the box office. Vijay , Rambha and Devayani acted as the lead characters for the movie. The story of the movie was written by Sathyanand. The film was made under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies and was distributed by Geetha Arts. About 4.2 crore rupees was spent in the making of this 165 minutes film.

The songs were composed by popular music director Deva. The songs were at the top of the chart at that time. Lyrics were written by Palani Bharathi, K. Selva Bharathy and Vaali.
The movie begins with hero (Gokulan Krishnan) dreaming about a girl. The only thing which he remember about the girl in the dream is a mole situated next to her navel. He then tries to find his 'Dream girl' with the help of his uncle and cousins. Gokulan's father compel him to marry a village girl Savithri (Gokulan is her Marital uncle). Gokulan opposes his father's decision, but Savithri loves him a lot.
Later Gokulan unexpectedly finds his dream girl Swapna at a wedding where he spot the mole on her navel. He then tries to impress her by singing but she leaves abruptly. Later both fall in love. Gokulan tries to stop his marriage with Savithri, this is where the twist comes, Swapna arrives to their village and it is revealed that Swapna and Savithri are sisters. Later Swapna overhears a conversation between Savithri's father and Gokulan in which Gokulan tells her father that he don't want to marry Savithri. Knowing how much her sister loves him, Swapna sacrifices her love by lying to Gokalan that she has blood clot in heart. After a lot of persuation Gokulan agrees to marry Savithri. When Vignesh reveal that he loves Swapna and want to marry her, Swapna says she will not marry anyone but Gokulan. After hearing this Savithri let Swapna marry Gokulan...
