NAALAIYA THEERPU(1992) is the first movie of the acting legend Ilayathalapathy, Vijay.The film, directed by S.A Chandrasekhar, vijay's father wasn't much of a commercial hit,but this movei gave a breakthrough for vijay from a junior artist to a main role actor.The screenplay of the film is written by the director itself.The movie is produced by Shoba Chandrasekhar.V.V Creations is the production company of this 160 minute movie

STORYLINE

Arun Mehta, Mahalakshmi's husband, spent life marrying other women and cheating her.Vijay, Mahalakshmi's son, was raised by her facing many troubles and problems. Soon Vijay is a good looking handsome young man. He joins college and falls in love with Priya. In a couple of years, Arun mehta began bringing his other wives to his house for sexual pleasure,Vijay and Mahalakshmi could not tolerate this,so they move to Mahalakshmi's house.Vijay's stepbrother convicts a murder and blames it on Vijay.The murder was all over the media and Vijay had no choice but to start a newspaper along with Priya. He named it Naalaya Theerpu and used it to prove his innocence and brings his stepbrother to justice.Arun Mehta, rapes Priya and murder her and blames Priya's murder on Vijay. Vijay again in trouble had to hide with his friends at a deserted guest house. Vijay convinces his innocence to  MLA's(Arun Mehta's friend) daughter and she gives Vijay information about Arun Mehta's plans. Vijay's stepbrother threatened the judge and the judge had no choice but to support Vijay's stepbrother. But during the verdict, the judge broke down into tears and explaines the truth to the court. By that time, Vijay brings his stepbrother to the court all beaten up .The judge verdicts immediate arrest of the murder and sentence him to jail. Vijay enjoys his life as a young man...
