RASIGAN(1994) is the third movie of Vijay(Ilaya Thalapathy).The movie is directed by S.A Chandrashekhar and story written by Shoba Chandrashekhar. The budget of this film was 1.1 crore rupees. The film was distributed by B.V Combines. Vijay and Sanghavi plays the lead role in this romantic film.

STORYLINE
Anitha is the daughter of Raghavan and Bhagyalakshmi where as Vijay is the grand son of Manorama.Raghavan is a police officer and he rents one of Manorama's house.Being neighbours the hero and heroine see each other oftenly. But Vijay and Anitha pretend to hate each other though actually in love. Later Raghavan know about his daughter's relationship with the guy and then his whole family plan to shift to another city. Before going Anitha leaves her new address on several envelopes and she tells those are love letters given by Vijay, Anitha's father gets angry and takes the letters and went to Vijay's house and tells him to take his useless love letters.
Vijay tries to find Anitha. One day Vijay goes to a restaurant to eat and he asked the waiter for the washroom.The waiter told him that there are two washrooms, one on the upstairs and another one is here.The server tells him to not go upstairs. But, Vijay goes upstairs to the bathroom,where he finds the illegal shooting of a 'bluefilm'.Unknowingly Vijay gets blamed for the death of the restaurant owner and Vijay tries to escape from the scene. This news reaches Raghavan who is a police officer and he tries to catch Vijay but the hero escape. At the climax Raghavan realize the truth and accepts the marriage between Vijay and Anitha.
