SENDHOORAPANDI(1993) is the second movie of actor vijay.The movie  features Vijayakanth along with vijay as the lead characters.Direction of the movie was done by  vijay's father and popular director S.A.Chandrasekhar and the story was written by Shobha Chandrasekhar. An amount of 64 lakhs rupees was spent in making this film and become a commercial superhit in tamil film industry. The film distributer was B.V combines.

STORYLINE

The story is about a college student named vijay who comes back to his village after his higher studies in the city.He shares his love with the village headman's daughter Meena.But ponnambalam ,Meena's brother, opposes  their marriage.By that time Vijays elder brother sendhoorapandi returns from the jail.The movie then pass through a flashback  showing sendhoorapandi's love with Marikozhundhu.Vijays follows his elder brother Sendhoorapandis's path to win Meena's heart......
