Thullatha Manamum Thullum is a 1999 Tamil Blockbuster movie written and directed by Ezhil. The film was produced by R.B Chaudary under the banner of Super Good films. The film features Vijay & Simran in the lead roles and was released on 29 January 1999. The film received the Tamil Nadu state award for the best film and was commercial success at the box office

STORY LINE

The hero of the story, Kutty works in a local cable provider run by Mani. Kutty is very good in singing and wishes to become a great singer. Kutty's songs were well appreciated by the heroine Rukmani, a collage student, but when ever she wishes to meet him, the situation project him as a rowdy. Meanwhile, one day when chasing a rowdy Kutty becomes the cause for Rukmani to lose her eyesight. He eventually starts to love her. Meanwhile Kutty's mother dies and he become highly emotional. Kutty's mother offers her eyes to Rukmani. But in order to meet the expense of operation Kutty offer his kidney to a rich man while returning home from hospital Kutty was arrested by police for handling explosives due to a misinterpretation. For a few years Kutty spend his life in Jail . Meanwhile Rukmani becomes collector. When Kutty return from Jail he was misinterpreted by his lover as she still see the image of a rowdy in him. But clearing all the misinterpretation, Kutty sing the song 'Innisai paadi varum' and they become lovers at the end.
